When the body is exposed to direct sunlight, serotonin, a neurochemical, is released by the brain. Serotonin elevates mood, promotes restful sleep, keeps the mind alert, and relieves mental tension.
Daily ExerciseIt is beneficial for your health to do 30 minutes of vigorous exercise daily, which makes you breathe heavily and sweat excessively. Choose an activity that is comfortable and interesting for you, such as walking, jogging, running, cycling, yoga, going to the gym, swimming, or participating in sports. There are countless health benefits of exercise. The quantity of water we should drink daily depends on many factors, like the season, the temperature of the day, etc. On average, we should drink 6 to 8 glasses of water every day, even at the typical temperature of 26 degrees Celsius. Dehydration happens when the person loses more water and fluids than he takes in. Even mild dehydration might result in headaches, fatigue, and constipation. Severe dehydration can be fatal to one's health.
6 to 8 Hours of SleepThe amount of sleep you require depends on many factors, including your age. Adults need 6 to 8 hours of restful sleep daily. Sleep is crucial for our overall health and productivity. It allows your body and brain to recharge, heal, restore, and re-energize. A good hour of quality sleep is required for proper brain functioning to keep ourselves calm, alert, active, focused and concentrated. In contrast, lack of sleep can negatively impact our health in diverse ways: obesity, mental illnesses, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and a weakened immune system.
Healthy and Balanced DietOur bodies reflect the quality and amount of the food we eat daily. A balanced diet provides us with all the necessary nutrients and minerals we need to be healthy. Keeping a healthy balance of nutrients and minerals is possible when devouring a balanced diet. Even though fast food, processed foods, and other refined foods taste great, we should eat them occasionally. More fruits, vegetables, and whole grains should be included in our diet.
